However, fruit juices are generally acidic and acid can damage the 35624 culture so we recommend taking it with water or milk or less acidic drinks e.g. soya, almond or rice milks. However, Alflorex® can be taken as part of a meal that has fruit juice, as the food will help protect the 35624® culture.

Only 120mg of calcium is contained in each capsule of Alflorex® + Calcium, which equates to 15% of the NRV (the safe upper limit for calcium intake is 2500mg).
The calcium carbonate used in Alflorex® + Calcium is one of the most commonly used forms of calcium additives in food, and has been approved for its safety by the European Food Safety Authority, and international food safety organisations. The safety of calcium carbonate has been well established.

Good product, it could have better packaging
Previous product packaging and tablet’s size were nicer, smaller and easier to swallow. Product is still good but I’d prefer the smaller nice tube they had before and the smaller tablets.

Helped my IBS
I’ve taken Alflorex on and off for several years and I can tell if I’m not taking the daily tablets as my IBS flares up. I’d recommend these to anyone who has IBS.

It does what it says on the tin
My partner has been using this for several years and it's significantly improved her immune system. Prior to use she suffered from chest infections most years. Since she started using Alflorex, she hasn't had any. She now recommends it to friends and family and they find it works great.

Amazing for IBS suffers
I have been using this for at least two years now. I find this product brilliant for IBS sufferers. It does help to relive cramping for me personally and that’s the main symptom I struggle with. It’s also good knowing I’m using a probiotic during winter time to stop me from constantly being poorly!! Pricey but worth the money!
